Help for the Newsletter Editor

Your local association’s newsletter is one of the best read union publications. Your members are interested in reading about people they know and issues, decisions, services and events that directly affect them.

Because of the many different demands on your time, you may find writing newsletter articles on a regular basis to be time-consuming and challenging. The Help for the Newsletter Editor program can help you and, at the same time, help make NYSUT Member Benefits Trust-endorsed programs and services more visible to your members.

NYSUT Member Benefits Trust sends special one-time offers throughout the academic year. These offers consist of an ad and graphic to be placed in your local's membership newsletter during a specified time period. Reprint the entire copy and the graphic in your newsletter in one of the months specified, send a copy of your newsletter to NYSUT Member Benefits Trust, and your local association will be reimbursed $100. It is a one-time reimbursement per ad, not per issue.
