Assistance with Ben Fund Set-up

NYSUT will assist locals in negotiating for a Fund.

NYSUT Member Benefits Trust will provide sample contract language and assistance in completing the legal requirements for setting up a Fund.  These requirements include The Trust Document and filing for Tax-Exempt Status and a Tax Identification Number.

Member Benefits will provide trustee training on Fund operations and fiduciary responsibilities, as well as benefits available. We will make professional referrals as necessary and serve as a resource for new and established Funds.
