Locals and benefit funds automatically receive, at no charge, fidelity bond coverage for $100,000 through their NYSUT/AFT affiliation. The fidelity bond provides protection for loss of local and benefit fund assets through fraudulent or dishonest acts committed by individuals handling funds on behalf of the local or benefit fund.
