New York State will receive $1.242 billion to fund 2004-05 Title I programs and setaside
requirements. This is an increase of $57.2 million or 4.6% over the amount
received this year. Due to changes in the way these funds are allocated across New
York State, many school districts will experience a decrease in their allocation from
the current year.
