About ELT

The Education and Learning Trust is NYSUT's primary way of delivering professional development to its members. The Trust offers courses for undergraduate, graduate and in-service credit, partnership programs that lead to master's degrees and teaching certificates, and workshops and professional development programs for teachers, school related professionals, and members from the health care community. Research and conventional wisdom dictate that professional development is one of the most important factors in improving schools and increasing student achievement.
