SED offers guidance on use of calculators in the classroom
The State Education Department (SED) has released a chart with information on calculators that can be used for each grade level.
This follows the SED announcements that districts are responsible for supplying graphing calculators for high school students and that the graphing calculator will be required for the Integrated Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra 2/Trigonometry courses and corresponding Regents exams.
