SURVEY: How does IDEA impact you and your students with disabilities?

Recent changes to the federal Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) could limit teachers and other professionals from participating in discussions and decisions affecting the education of students with disabilities. NYSUT wants to know if districts are implementing these provisions and the impact they are having on students and teachers.

Please take a few minutes to share with us how these changes have impacted you and the special education students in your district.

NYSUT will use this information to support our advocacy and legislative initiative at the federal and state levels.
