PHOTOS: Activists rally for farm workers at the Capitol

This week, activists rallied at the Capitol in support the Farm Workers Fair Labor Practices Act (A.1867/S.2247), sending a clear message to elected officials in Albany that all New Yorkers deserve respect, equality, and recognition for their contributions.

If passed, the legislation will guarantee farm workers in New York equal rights and protections under the law including a day of rest, overtime pay, disability insurance and collective bargaining protections.
