ELL teachers invited to webcast
Secondary teachers of English Language Learners are invited to take part in a webcast on meeting the needs of adolescent ELLs.
Sponsored by Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages and The New York Times Knowledge Network, the seminar will be held from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28.
Two leading experts in the field of English language teaching, Deborah Short and Kate Menken, will highlight the practical issues related to the high dropout rate for adolescent ELLs and recommend approaches for addressing the problem.
