UFT brings Big Apple to Albany conference
The contingent of paraprofessionals, secretaries and day care providers from New York City who traveled to Albany played a big role at NYSUT's 30th annual School-Related Professionals Leadership Conference. As well they should, since it was veterans such as Maria Portalatin, Flo Fidell and Shelvy Young-Abrams who were instrumental in planning the first one.
