Fund drive for food

NYSUT a patron of budding artists

Art teacher Marielle Martin of the Bethlehem Central Teachers Association works with second-graders at Elsmere Elementary School in Albany County. Students donated their artwork to NYSUT for use in projects throughout the year. In turn, the students received gift certificates to a local art store. Examples of artwork from students in grades 2 and 3 are displayed here, including the watercolor at far left that will adorn the cover of the upcoming NYSUT pocket planning calendar for 2009-10.
