Darryl Jirinec, Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES TA, has been named 2006 National Advisor of the Year by SkillsUSA, a partnership of students, teachers and industry working for a skilled work force. An instructor in heavy equipment repair and operation, Jirinec was praised for creating a curriculum "that benefits the learning needs of students and develops the workplace readiness skills that business and industry demand" ...
