Delegates to the union's annual Representative Assembly will be considering 49 resolutions that have been submitted in recent weeks in accord with rules established by the Board of Directors, as well as other business that may be brought before the body.

In the past, all the resolutions, reaffirmations and many procedural details were published in New York Teacher.

This year that information is being distributed to delegates and alternates in two separate documents, saving much paper and expense. The entire documents are available for you to download.

The proposed resolutions, as published for the delegate mailing and on the Web, have undergone minor editing, primarily to address consistency of style and typographical errors. If you have any questions, please contact your local union or retiree council president.

The 38th annual Representative Assembly of NYSUT is slated for April 29-May 1 in Washington, D.C.
