Plans are under way for the 2008 NYSUT Representative Assembly, scheduled for April 10-12 in New York City.

The theme of this year's RA is "On the Move," and the Convention Call reflecting this theme will be mailed during the first week of November. Letters are being mailed to all NYSUT local union presidents outlining the process to elect delegates.

The Local & Retiree Council Presidents Conference, which precedes the convention, is scheduled for April 9-10 at the Hilton New York.

Deadlines for proposed RA resolutions and amendments to the Constitution and Bylaws will be published in the Nov. 2 NYSUT Leader.
