About Jane Young
From leading faculty and staff through the aftermath of 9/11 to serving as a grass-roots organizer in her 40 years of service, Jane Young has been a strong advocate for faculty at Borough of Manhattan Community College, where she serves as chapter chair for the Professional Staff Congress at the City University of New York. This Higher Education Member of the Year is a staunch health and safety activist who has also served on the PSC negotiating team. She was nominated by PSC President Barbara Bowen.
