Elections for members of the Board of Directors from former National Education Association of New York locals were held at the RA. Results are:

In Election District A, seven directors were elected: Philip Rumore, Sara Rodland, Edith LeWin, Barbara Bielecki, all of the Buffalo Teachers Federation; Lola Kelly, East Rochester Teachers Association; Ellis Woods, Buffalo Education Support Team; and Andrew Sako, Faculty Association of Erie Community College.

In Election District B, six directors were elected: Eileen Healy, Jamestown TA; Sheila Harte-Dmitriev, Clymer EA; Lynn Romanick, Baldwinsville Education Support Professionals Association; Eileen Foss, Baldwinsville TA; Thela Snow, Bolivar-Richburg Faculty Association; and Louise Ortman, Bloomfield PEA.

In Election District C, seven directors were elected: Mary June King, Trumansburg TA; Candace Stroud, Binghamton TA; Denise Heckel, Vestal TA; Catherine Savage, Ithaca TA; Patricia Weinwurm, Johnson City EA; Kier Merrill, Greene TA; and Charlene Testut, Ithaca City School District Employees Association.

In Election District D, five directors elected were: Morton Rosenfeld, Plainview Congress of Teachers; Steven Tiger, Taconic Hills Faculty Association; Patricia Mikolajeski, Dutchess County BOCES; Nancy Hoskins; Peru TA; and Irene Bielski, East Ramapo TA.

The retiree at-large director elected was Stanley Nowak.

Elected as a delegate to the NEA national convention was Deborah Minnick; the alternate elected was Lola Kelly.

Elected delegates to the NEA Representative Assembly were Dick Iannuzzi, Alan Lubin, Maria Neira, Kathleen Donahue, Carol Slotkin, Dianne Hettrich and Carla McLaud.
