RA 2008 is 'on the move'

NYSUT's 36th Annual Representative Assembly will convene at the Hilton New York in New York City, April 10-12, 2008.
Members make their voices heard by electing local delegates who represent them at the annual convention. The Representative Assembly, known by many as the "RA," is the highest policy making body of NYSUT, with the exception of a membership referendum.
RA housing will be handled on a first-responding, first-served basis. The recommended way for delegates to make a housing reservation is by accessing the NYSUT Web site at nysut.org.
Leaders are encouraged to log onto the NYSUT Leader Web site frequently to keep current with respect to critical issues impacting the RA and other matters of importance.
Duly elected and reported delegates and alternates receive the NYSUT Leader and any special informational mailings during the year. Further information on the NYSUT RA, including the campaign and election procedures, will be sent in future mailings and posted on the NYSUT Leader Web site.
