• Steven Greenhouse of The New York Times, who will debut his newest book, The Big Squeeze: Tough Times for the American Worker, at the convention
• Richard Kahlenberg, author of the recent biography of Al Shanker, Tough Liberal: Albert Shanker and the Battles Over Schools, Unions, Race and Democracy
