The flu might be coming soon to a body near you.
As NYSUT advocates, anyone who works in schools, homes and hospitals should get a flu vaccine. NYSUT makes the vaccine available to employees each year. Here, Kathy Hans gets vaccinated against influenza in November at NYSUT Headquarters.
NYSUT Vice President Kathleen Donahue said preventing seasonal flu is one more thing to add on those holiday to-do lists.
"It's a great habit to get into," said Donahue, who oversees the union's health care professionals.
