For the third year, NYSUT is hosting an art exhibit at the union's Latham headquarters with 150 works of art from students in the North Colonie School District. The talented K-12 students are presenting a variety of sculpture, watercolors, paintings and mixed media completed during the past school year under the direction of 17 North Colonie art teachers.
"It's the future artists of the world we're meeting here," said NYSUT Vice President Maria Neira, at a lobby reception Monday featuring music, many proud art teachers, and even prouder families.
