The Celebration of Teaching & Learning, a national conference on education that was held in New York City in March, now has videos and photos of the event available online. NYSUT is a sponsor of the Celebration of Teaching & Learning, and the event this year included panel discussions featuring NYSUT President Richard Iannuzzi and United Federation of Teachers President Randi Weingarten. The keynote address was given by former Vice President Al Gore, and other notable speakers included Meet the Press moderator Tim Russert, U.S. Education Secretary Margaret Spellings, Sesame Workshop CEO Gary Knell and astronaut Mae Jemison.
