As the school year reaches the midway point, our hope is for you and your students to continue a productive and successful year . The Executive Board of the AFT / NYS Latino Caucus would like to extend a heartfelt "thanks" for all the work you do for the young minds of New York State.
The AFT / NYS Latino Caucus is an educational caucus made up of New York City and State educators that advocates for excellence in education and opportunities for students, especially those of Latino / Hispanic heritage.
Enclosed you will find an application for our AFT / NYS Latino Caucus 2007-2008 Scholarships. Please duplicate and distribute to eligible students in your school. The application postmark deadline is Friday, May 15, 2008.
