About the Conference

Educators who work with English Language Learners are invited to NYSUT's one-day conference, Collaborating for the Success of English Language Learners, taking place Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at NYSUT Headquarters in Latham. The conference is for middle and high school content area teachers, English as Second Language teachers and bilingual teachers to share research and effective strategies to improve students' language acquisition skills. Effective strategies for teacher collaboration will also be shared. Participants will have an opportunity to attend two interactive sessions. There is no registration fee for this conference.
