A number of NYSUT members and American Federation of Teachers President Randi Weingarten joined teachers from across the nation, in-person and online, for a two-hour televised "Teacher Town Hall" hosted by NBC News and MSNBC. The complete video is now available online.

The event aired live on Sep. 26 on MSNBC. It also streamed online at EducationNation.com, Scholastic.com, iVillage.com and msnbc.com. NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams moderated the discussion, which focused on what works in the classroom and the challenges that face teachers today.
