Earlier this week, the State Education Department released the 2012 grades 3 - 8 ELA and math assessment guidelines.
Both the ELA and math tests will span three days in April and the amount of time students will have to complete the tests have increased.
The ELA test will be administered April 17, 18, and 19 with make-up days April 20, 23, and 24.
The math test will be administered April 25, 26, and 27. The math test administration conflicts with the 2012 NYSUT RA which will be held in Buffalo. Make up dates for the math test are April 30, May 1, and 2.
