“I have been informed that there will not be a challenge for my seat on the New York State Teachers’ Retirement Board. My fourth term will begin in January 1, 2014. I offer my sincere thanks and gratitude to all the RAC members and retiree leaders who canvassed their members to sign my petition in a timely fashion. I am fully aware that I would not be in this position if it were not for NYSUT, and especially the retiree leaders.”
