State AFL-CIO issues statewide endorsements

Source:  NYSUT Communications
The New York State AFL-CIO earlier this week announced the endorsement of state Attorney General Eric Schneiderman and state Comptroller Tom DiNapoli for reelection. The endorsements came out of the state federation's 2014 Committee on Political Education (COPE) Convention held Monday in New York City. The convention did not endorse in the race for governor. NYSUT is an affiliate of the state AFL-CIO and was represented at the convention by nearly 400 delegates.
