We're just coming off of a big weekend for labor walks and phone banks as local elections occur all over the state.

NYSUT local unions have endorsed candidates and engaged in phone banks, labor walks and other GOTV efforts urging voters to go to the polls TUESDAY, NOV. 3, 2015.

For example, the Carmel Teachers Association pounded the pavement for Andy Falk, who is running for Patterson town supervisor.

Middle school teacher and Poughkeepsie Public School TA member Craig Brendli is running for Dutchess County Legislature, with the backing of his union.

And Greg Quinn, a UFT member who teaches at Christopher Columbus HS, is running for Wappingers town supervisor, with the endorsement of the Wappingers Congress of Teachers.

The unions have been phone banking/door knocking all month for these candidates - but it all comes down to Election Day.

Be sure to cast your vote on Tuesday.

Every election matters. So vote on Tuesday, November 3! And share our poster now!
