Lincoln Forum: A three day symposium

Source:  NYSUT Communications
The Lincoln Forum is a three day symposium held every year in Gettysburg, PA in mid-November for people interested in the life and legacy of Abraham Lincoln. Activities include talks and panels of leading scholars and guest speakers, historic tours, and annual awards given in the field of Lincoln studies.

Among its other goals, it also provides FULLY PAID expenses (travel, registration, meals, and hotel accommodations) in the form of scholarships to both deserving teachers AND students who wish to attend the event!

Information and details about the application process can be found on the forum's website, www.thelincolnforum.org.

Anyone who has attended this event returns home refreshed and re-invigorated about the importance of history and the key role that Abraham Lincoln played in our own national story.
