Teaching with testimony

The USC Shoah Foundation Institute is accepting applications for its 2011 Master Teacher Workshop, Teaching with Testimony. The five-day, all expense-paid workshop — geared toward secondary school educators — takes place July 18-22 at the University of Southern California's Los Angeles campus. Successful candidates will earn a certificate and 12 graduate-level continuing education units from the USC Rossier School of Education.

Founded in 1994 by Steven Spielberg, the USC Shoah Foundation Institute has videotaped the testimonies of more than 50,000 Holocaust survivors and other witnesses in 56 countries and in 32 languages. Applications are due May 2. Visit http://college.usc.edu/vhi/pr_story/?nid=1965 for more information.
