Educators visit the Majdanek death camp near Lublin, Poland.


Deepen your knowledge of the Holocaust and the Jewish Resistance by participating in a three-week seminar in Poland, the Czech Republic and the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C., July 6 to 27.

Sponsored by the American Federation of Teachers, the Educators' Chapter of the Jewish Labor Committee and the American Gathering of Jewish Holocaust Survivors, the trip seeks to improve secondary education about the Holocaust and the Jewish Resistance. It is led by scholars from Israel 's Yad Vashem in Jerusalem and the Study Center for the Ghetto Fighters' Museum at Lohemei HaGta'ot. Program cost is $2,000, including round-trip airfare, historic site fees, hotel accommodations and two daily meals.
