The United States City Average Consumer Price Index (CPI-U) for June 2013 was 233.504 representing a change of 1.8 percent over the index for June 2012.
The Northeast Area Consumer Price Index for June 2013 was 248.851—representing a change of 1.5 percent over the index for June 2012.
The New York-Northern New Jersey Area Consumer Price Index for June 2013 was 256.911— representing a change of 1.8 percent over the index for June 2012.
The July CPI will be available August 15, 2013.
Future projections of the CPI by businesses and economic organizations are found on page 3. CPI increases are projected at 1.5 percent for 2013 and 1.9 percent for 2014.
