The United States City Average Consumer Price Index (CPI-U) for June 2014 was 238.343 representing a change of 2.1 percent over the index for June 2013.
The Northeast Area Consumer Price Index for June 2014 was 253.555 — representing a change of 1.9 percent over the index for June 2013.
The New York-Northern New Jersey Area Consumer Price Index for June 2014 was 261.350 — representing a change of 1.7 percent over the index for June 2013.
The July CPI will be available August 19, 2014.
Future projections of the CPI by businesses and economic organizations are found on page 3. CPI increases are projected at 1.9 percent for 2014 and 2.1 percent for 2015.
