Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) Training Program flyerNYSUT's Education & Learning Trust is offering prevention and intervention training in harassment, bullying, cyberbullying and discrimination in schools Saturday, May 9 at its headquarters in Latham. This training fulfills SED requirements for the Dignity Act (DASA) certificate.

The Dignity Act requires that all students in New York state public schools are afforded an environment free of discrimination and harassment (Education Law §10). This interactive program examines the acts of harassment, discrimination and bullying as it relates to, but is not limited to, those acts based on a person's actual or perceived race, color, weight, national origin, gender or sex.

Participants will engage in authentic conversations, activities and reflections about harassment, discrimination and bullying as well as exploring the impact of social constructs in their personal and professional lives.
