Hello MHN colleagues!
I hope the end of the school year is treating you well.
May is Mental Health Awareness Month and I have several announcements that I am excited to share with you.
Here at NYSUT we kicked off the month with our Representative Assembly in NYC- read more about the convention, award recipients, resolutions and speakers HERE.
I had the pleasure of meeting some of you in the exhibition hall, working with therapy dogs (and their awesome humans) from the HOPE organization, as well as highlighting a quiet space to take a break from the chaos of the day in the Calm room- complete with sand trays, salt lamps, comfy chairs and our premium Calm app running for meditations and soothing sounds.
