Lesson plan initiative highlights work of Robert F. Kennedy
"Speak Up, Speak Out: Robert F. Kennedy, Champion of Social Justice" is an initiative to share Kennedy's legacy with a new generation of students. Lesson plans suitable for 4th, 8th and 11th grade classes link his social justice agenda to New York state standards in social studies and English language arts, offering a unique opportunity to blend the ideas, concepts, themes and skills of the standards with Kennedy's social justice history.
