Can you afford a major medical crisis?
Supplemental health coverage plan available
Are you financially prepared if a serious illness or accident happens?
Every day, news stories announce the latest lifesaving medical advances, newest technologies or groundbreaking experimental treatments.
This is good news because it means if you are in a serious car accident, have a stroke or are diagnosed with a long-term ailment, your chances of recovery are very good.
But it could also bring some bad news: expensive medical and hospital costs. Unfortunately, the more serious your accident or illness is, the higher your medical bills could be. This often leads to increased out-of-pocket costs—no matter how good your basic health insurance is.
That’s why many Americans are adding CMM – Catastrophe Major Medical Insurance – as part of their financial portfolio.
What is Catastrophe Major Medical Insurance?
CMM Insurance is supplemental health coverage designed to help with larger medical expenses not fully covered by a regular health insurance plan. It generally features a large deductible that needs to be met prior to any benefits being paid. Once the deductible is met (usually your basic health plan payments meet this deductible amount so the payment is not out of your pocket), the CMM plan will help pay eligible medical expenses that your basic health insurance doesn’t cover or care that exceeds the limitations of your basic health insurance plan.
CMM benefits may include doctor care, surgeries, prescriptions and hospital stays, as well as care received in your home or in a nursing/convalescent home.
