Herm Card, Marcellus Faculty Association (retired), recently released his latest book Or Else It's Only a Job: More Poetry of Teaching.
"Herm Card's poetry is the best medicine I know for preventing teacher burn-out," wrote California teacher Carol Jago.
Card wrote a blog at locals.nysut.org/herm last year about his progress through his last year of teaching before retirement.
