Gideon Putnam Hotel, Saratoga Springs, NY
April 27, 2013

Dear Health Care Professional,

I personally invite you to attend NYSUT's Professional Issues Forum on Health Care at the Gideon Putnam Hotel in Saratoga Springs, NY on April 27, 2013.

The NYSUT Health Care Professionals Council is an advocacy group for more than 15,000 workers in the health care field who are members of bargaining units throughout the state. The Professional Issues Forum on Health Care is a major event sponsored by the council and provides an opportunity to strengthen your professional skills, enhance your practice and network with other health care professionals who perform similar work.

This conference is designed for nurses, psychologists, school counselors and guidance counselors, clinical instructors, pharmacists and therapists who work in public and private sector schools, hospitals, universities, visiting nurse associations and residential and day treatment facilities. We encourage local presidents to support member participation in this important conference.

  • Gain the knowledge you need by attending workshops focusing on strategies you can immediately implement and share with your colleagues.
  • Earn up to 4 contact hours. NYSUT has submitted the content of this year's conference to AFT Healthcare for contact hour credit.
  • AFT Healthcare is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
  • Hear highly acclaimed nurse educator Dr. Gloria Boseman deliver a motivating keynote address.
  • Reconnect with friends and colleagues; make valuable new contacts at the professional networking groups.
  • Learn about the latest resources and services available to NYSUT health care professionals in the exhibit hall.
  • Share success at the professional poster showcase.

Advance your practice and get involved in your union! Additional information on the conference is below. Please join us and register today!
