UFT volunteers are on duty from 2 to 7 p.m. today and 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday on the second floor promenade. The UFT, NYSUT's largest local, represents 200,000 members and is led by President Michael Mulgrew.
UFT — Local 1 — is also among the oldest. The union marked its 50th anniversary in March 2010.
