NYSUT unequivocally condemns these heinous and inhumane attacks against innocent civilians. During this uncertain and difficult time, NYSUT is here to support educators as they help students process such disturbing and horrific events.
We are collecting resources and information that our members may find useful in their classrooms and in their personal lives. We've also begun to hear personal stories from our members across the state about how these horrific attacks affect them and their families.

In the coming days, we will be working alongside the State Education Department, our local unions and school districts to help provide resources for educators and students. We will also be in contact with officials about any purported threats that may arise here in New York.
