Consumer Action Handbook is a 168-page guide that helps citizens find sources for assistance with consumer problems and questions. It is produced by the federal General Services Administration.

Study in Italy

The National Italian American Foundation will honor a teacher at the elementary or secondary level for excellence in the teaching of Italian language and culture with the NIAF Teacher of the Year Award.

The recipient will receive a continuing education stipend for study in Italy at the University of Siena or the University of Perugia in a course designed for teachers of the Italian language for foreigners.

Expenses paid include: transportation between the U.S. and Italy; tuition; course fees; accommodations and a daily food stipend. Applications must be post-marked by June 30. The winner will be notified in early September.
