Freebies: Study in Italy March 16, 2006 Guide for consumers Consumer Action Handbook is a 168-page guide that helps citizens find sources for assistance with consumer problems and questions. Study in Italy The National Italian American Foundation will honor a teacher at the elementary or secondary level for excellence in the teaching of Italian language and culture with the NIAF Teacher of the Year Award. The recipient will receive a continuing education stipend for study in Italy at the University of Siena or the University of Perugia in a course designed for teachers of the Italian language for foreigners. Expenses paid include: transportation between the U.S. and Italy; tuition; course fees; accommodations and a daily food stipend. Applications must be post-marked by June 30.
