Sigourney Weaver and other New York City luminaries star in PSAs urging all eligible workers and volunteers who participated in recovery, rescue or cleanup below Canal Street for up to one year after 9/11/01 to register for New York State Workers’ Compensation before the Aug. 14, 2007 deadline.
The PSAs were developed by the Business and Labor Coalition of New York - BALCONY - which brings labor and business leaders together to promote a healthy state economy. Developed by NYSUT Executive Vice President Alan Lubin, BALCONY adds its voice to the Capitol conversation.
