Phil Rumore, veteran leader of the 3,000-member Buffalo Teachers Federation, spoke from the floor Friday about the positive relationship built between his local and NYSUT since unification. He praised President Iannuzzi for his integrity in the talks that brought the organizations together, the high level of service that BTF and other locals, both large and small, are receiving and the deep commitment of NYSUT staff to meet members' needs. "We are proud to be part of NYSUT," the BTF president said.
