The New York State Retired Teachers Association is offering two $1,000 graduate study awards to educators working toward a master's degree and permanent certification in New York state. One finalist will be chosen from among five counties in western New York state; another from a 14-county area in eastern New York. Applicants must be full-time public school educators. The application deadline is March 16; winners will be notified in early June.
