NYSUT officer Cutler to visit New York State Fair on opening day

cutlerALBANY, N.Y. August 20, 2008 - New York State United Teachers Secretary-Treasurer Lee Cutler will visit the 600,000-member union's booth at the New York State Fair in Syracuse on opening day, Thursday, August 21 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.

The theme for this year's NYSUT display is "On the Move in your Communities" - featuring tips and giveaways to help students and parents get ready for the new school year. NYSUT members from the central New York area will be on hand to greet the public.

The booth is located in the Center of Progress Building on the Fairgrounds. Look for the "Red Apple" balloons floating above the booth. Members of the media wishing to interview Cutler or visit the booth can call contact NYSUT Media Relations at 518-213-6000 ext. 6684 to make arrangements.
