New York State United Teachers Secretary-Treasurer Lee Cutler greets more than a dozen members strolling by the union's booth at the New York State Fair in Syracuse on opening day, Thursday, August 21.
Cutler joined NYSUT members from the Solvay Teachers Association who worked the booth. The theme for this year's NYSUT display is "On the Move in Your Communities" - featuring tips and giveaways to help students and parents get ready for the new school year.
The booth is located in the Center of Progress Building on the Fairgrounds. Look for the "Red Apple" balloons floating above the booth.
