The State Education Department has posted the Regents Test Sampler for the new one day Comprehensive Examination in English Language Arts whose first administration will be in January 2011. This Regents exam will replace the current two-day exam.
The test sampler provides examples of the types of passages, questions, the formatting, and the scoring guides that are being developed for the examination. It may be duplicated for classroom instruction.
