The State Education Department has released updated information regarding the department's intent to amend the Commissioner's Regulations related to the elimination of the Second Language Proficiency Examinations (SLP), the Regents Comprehensive Examinations in German, Hebrew, and Latin, and the Grades 5 and 8 Social Studies Tests.
