NYSUT President Dick Iannuzzi was a guest of New York State AFL-CIO President Denis Hughes on the Jan. 19 edition of the television program "Working New York"
Iannuzzi and Hughes talked about attacks on teachers' pensions and benefits, and the ill-conceived property tax cap proposal that would harm public schools and other vital services.
"Working New York" is a production of the state AFL-CIO to address a range of issues important to working men and women and their families. The program airs Wednesdays at 8:30 p.m. on the Regional News Network on cable and satellite systems in Long Island, New York City, the Hudson Valley and the Capital Region.
